The first order of business was the approval of the bills and minutes as presented.
 
Mr. Arthell Lewis informed the mayor and council that there are several places on the state right of way where trees need to be cut for a clear view when pulling out into highway 75. Mayor Mike stated that he would ask Commissioner Harcrow and see if he could help with the problem.
 
Charles McAdams asked the town for extra security on the weekend of the 24th of this month. They are having a cruise in at the park to help benefit cancer patients in our area.
 
There was a motion and a second to adopt the Policy and Procedure Manual for the police department that was tabled last meeting

With a call to order Councilwoman Spurgeon lead in prayer.
 
There was a presentation to the mayor and council, from the Library, of the expenses over the past year. The council voted to purchase an air conditioning unite for the Library.
 
The Town’s bucket truck is in need of a new paint job, so estimates are to be gotten and new signs  put on. The truck was given to us by the City Of Trenton.
