The Hornets traveled to Lineville this Friday
night for the first round of the playoffs.
This is the first time that Ider has made the
playoffs two years in a row.

Due to the storm damage at the Ider Football
Stadium, the Hornets had to go to Sylvania's field for Thursday's game.
The Officials were the MVP's of the game. I
lost count of the penalties against the Hornets and only two penalties
against the Rams.
Come on now if you are going to be that strict
at leased have the same rules for both teams. If a players knee is on
the ground blow the whistle, don't let the player return the punt,
(slide 170).
Also, when a player looses his helmet shouldn't
the play stop, (slides 278-287)? And what about calling Face Mask,
(slides 119 & 143)?
Remember I stand very close to where the
Officials stand, if I get the picture you should be able to see it. I
can not say anything about across the field, but on the visitors' side
the Officials were useless.

The Hornets traveled to Pleasant Valley for a
21 to 10 win.

Ider host Fyffe for the Game of the Season.
The only drawback was at the end when Fyffe's
mascot decided to show very poor sportsmanship.
He marched across the field and tore a sign
down and shoved it into one of the mom's face. By now the incident it
all over FaceBook.
